Sacramento hasn't won since the middle of January.

The 16-game slide is the longest in the league. It's officially the longest losing streak in franchise history -- regardless of if the franchise operated as the Cincinnati Royals or in Sacramento.

But are the Kings closing in on the NBA record?

Fortunately the franchise is a long ways away from shattering the record -- which is 28 games (the Detroit Pistons were the last to hit the mark in 2023-24).

Yet among Western Conference teams, the Kings are eight losses away from breaking the mark made by the 1995-96 Vancouver Grizzlies and 1997-98 Denver Nuggets.
