
A sign of maturity from Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd was admitting that his experiment with star rookie Cooper Flagg running point - a position he had never played in his life - wasn't working.
And maybe he didn't explicitly tell us he was wrong, but he made the right decision to change it. And now that is beginning to work.
Take a look at Flagg's improvements since simply shifting his on-ball responsibilities within the starting lineup in his first month in the NBA.
Flagg has increased in every statistical category since starting on the wing instead of the backcourt.
While it hasn't translated to a ton of wins, those will come.
What's arguably more important this season is seeing where this highly-regarded generational talent fits best.
Now he's found a home.
