Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd was ejected in the first quarter of Saturday night's game at the Chicago Bulls.

Kidd was not awarded a challenge attempt before the next play was put in motion, and Kidd's explosion at referee Scott Foster resulted in a quick kick-out.

Associate coach Frank Vogel is taking over the remaining 3+ quarters of the game as the Mavs have gotten down by as many as 10 in the opening period.
