Anthony Davis has long lobbied for his "natural" and preferred position to be at power forward rather than center, despite the success he and his offenses have had with him at the five.

Now with the Dallas Mavericks losing Dereck Lively II for the season, it's more apparent than ever that Dallas needs to continue playing Davis at center.

Says head coach Jason Kidd ... it appears it will continue.
