The Dallas Mavericks fell 110–102 in Houston, dropping their third straight game to start the week at 2–5.

P.J. Washington had his best night of the season with 29 points and 12 rebounds, Max Christie added 17, and Cooper Flagg scored 12 in the first half before dealing with more shoulder trouble. But another rough fourth quarter — and 62 points allowed in the paint — proved costly again.

Jason Kidd said afterward, “We got good looks but couldn’t get the stops.”

How are you feeling about this team right now? Are the injuries too much to overcome, or is this just early-season growing pain? What stood out most to you from tonight’s loss?
