Here's what Cooper Flagg and his Mavericks teammates/coaches said about the throw down against the Clippers earlier this week.

“It was pretty good,” head coach Jason Kidd said. “Lopez is a big target. He had some incredible blocks last night. But he’s not small. He’s not one to back up from a challenge.”

“When you talk about Cooper’s dunk, it was very athletic to be able to move the ball so that it didn’t get blocked.”

The dunk came shortly after "overrated" chants were directed at Flagg from the Clipppers' "Wall" of fans behind the basket.

“For him it’s just about playing the game the right way,” Kidd said of the rookie.

“Again, (Flagg) has delivered each time when something like that has taken place. He did have a big dunk. He was aggressive last night.

“He had some good looks that just didn’t go down for him, but he kept playing, kept finding guys and playing the game the right way.”
