The Brooklyn Nets fell 113-108 in enemy territory against the Memphis Grizzlies in a game where Danny Wolf (11 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, one block) did a little bit of everything in 24 minutes of work. Brooklyn's No. 27 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft showed out for large portions of the night defensively, moving his feet well and coming up with key defensive rebounds down the stretch.
Following the loss, Wolf expressed to YES Network's Meghan Triplett that Nets head coach Jordi Fernandez emphasized their need for more aggressiveness on both ends, especially after their bench group brought the team back from an early 16-point deficit. Wolf certainly came with that assertiveness, but tough mental mistakes and fantastic three-point shooting from Memphis led to the Nets' eventual downfall.
