Entering the final day, here's what the top of the NBA Draft Lottery standings look like:
- Wizards (17-64)
- Pacers (19-62) 2.0 GB
- Nets (20-61) 3.0 GB
- Jazz (22-59) 5.0 GB
- Kings (22-59) 5.0 GB
The Nets are guaranteed top-three lottery odds, which gives them a 52.1% chance at a top-four pick and a 14.0% chance at the No. 1 selection. Losing tonight against the Raptors (who likely need to win to stay out of the play-in) would not improve Brooklyn's odds, but it could ensure the Nets could — at worst — fall to No. 6 overall instead of No. 7.
Brooklyn would need the Pacers to beat the Pistons, who have already locked up the No. 1 seed in the East, and need to lose to the Raptors. That would force a tie and leave a coin flip to decide whether the Pacers or Nets receive the better odds.
