Traore was drafted by the Nets with the 19th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Traore was on the court for decent amount of time, accumulating 22.2 minutes per game. He also averaged 8.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his rookie season.

The 2026 NBA Summer League will take place on July 3rd in California, and will continue through July 16th.
