In the beginning stages of what would become a 123-115 home victory for the Brooklyn Nets over the Chicago Bulls, Nets rookie Drake Powell made a loud statement.

With the Nets trailing 22-21 late in the first quarter, Powell saw an opportunity for an early career-best highlight, and took advantage.

Powell's thunderous dunk over Chicago's Patrick Williams sent the Barclays Center into a frenzy.

He'd finish his night with 14 points and 5 rebounds, leaving his mark on the contest in more ways than one.
