Following the Boston Celtics' 148-111 beatdown of the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, a pair of rising rookies got a chance to reconnect.

Brooklyn's three-point sniper Egor Dëmin and Boston's defensive-minded guard-forward hybrid Hugo González interacted briefly after each of the first-year players got 21 minutes of burn in what turned out to be a blowout of epic proportions.

In the process, both products of the Real Madrid professional basketball scene swapped jerseys after reuniting in the NBA.

Dëmin came away with five points and two assists in the loss, while González filled the stat sheet with eight points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocked shots.
