The Brooklyn Nets throttled the Washington Wizards for most of their eventual 127-113 victory on Saturday evening, and a young frontcourt duo of theirs connected to make a bit of franchise history in the process.
With similar statlines in the contest, rookie Danny Wolf and fifth-year big man Day'Ron Sharpe did something that no other pair of teammates in Nets history had ever accomplished.
After putting up fantastic respective performances in a reserve role, Wolf (16 points, seven rebounds, six assists) and Sharpe (19 points, nine rebounds, four assists) become the first Nets duo ever to record at least 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists coming off the bench on the same night.
Can the Nets look forward to more of the same production from both of their young bigs this season?
