Injuries are cruel, but the 2025-26 regular season has managed to be even crueler to the Eastern Conference's No. 13 seeded (12-33 rec.) Brooklyn Nets.

Hoping to avoid a seventh straight loss at the hands of the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night, Brooklyn has been dealt another setback in the form of an exhaustive injury report shared by New York Daily News' C.J. Holmes.

Among those ruled out for the contest are future Rising Stars Game participant Egor Dëmin, Ziaire Williams, Cam Thomas and Noah Clowney, with Terance Mann deemed questionable.

A few of Brooklyn's most reliable offensive initiators and three-point shooters have been eliminated from the rotation, forcing head coach Jordi Fernandez into a tough spot.

Hopeful first-time All-Star Michael Porter Jr. (25.2 points, 61.7% true shooting percentage) is expected to suit up against his former franchise for the second time in his career, but that means he'll likely be a scratch for Brooklyn's Friday night bout against the Utah Jazz, per ClutchPoints' Erik Slater.
