Following the Brooklyn Nets' recent 118-98 defeat against the Orlando Magic on Thursday night, center Nic Claxton spoke with the media after surviving yet another trade deadline.

The 26-year-old big man told YES Network that while the 2025-26 season has not been a success by any stretch of the imagination (outside of their tanking plans), there's comfort in the fact that they know the final version of their roster for the rest of the campaign.

"This time of year can be a little nerve-wracking," Claxton shared post-game on Thursday night.

"Now we know that this is the group that we have for the rest of the year, and we can all just lock in and focus on getting better."

Claxton is no stranger to being involved in trade rumblings around the deadline, and now he'll get some time to relax.

Moving forward, Brooklyn's coaching staff will remain more focused than ever on the continued development of their young prospects post-deadline.
