The Brooklyn Nets have caught a break at the perfect time, as their quest to end a five-game skid became a bit easier prior to their Tuesday night meeting against the Phoenix Suns.

According to the NBA's latest injury report for Jan. 27, the Suns' 4-time All-Star Devin Booker has been ruled out for the contest with a right ankle sprain.

In tandem with Booker's absence, Phoenix's Jalen Green remains questionable as he recovers from a right hamstring injury.

With Booker's 25.4 points and 6.2 assists missing for the Suns, Brooklyn's defense might have been given a real chance to reestablish itself and lead the team to a victory.
