As the Feb. 5 trade deadline awaits, the Brooklyn Nets remain in an intriguing position as a rebuilding team with a few notable impact players on their roster, such as Haywood Highsmith, Cam Thomas, and star scorer Michael Porter Jr.
While Porter Jr. trade talks have run rampant since the beginning of the season, the possibility of a Thomas or Highsmith trade has remained murky for the past few weeks.
Should the Nets take advantage of their opportunity to gain draft capital in exchange for their more proven talents prior to the deadline, or wait to deal them in the offseason?
