We've got a classic rivalry matchup on our hands for the first round of the playoffs as the Denver Nuggets will face off with their old friends, the Minnesota Timberwolves. 

I'm seeing this as a tight series, similar to the last meeting in the 2024 Western Conference semifinals. And although we talk about these two squads knowing each other so well, both the Nuggets and the Wolves look quite a bit different than they did this time last year, and certainly than they did two years ago. 

I think Denver has enough versatility to make life hard for Minnesota's offense and limit their transition play. On the other side, Nikola Jokic has too many offensive weapons to lose this series. I'm going with Nuggets in six.
