During a recent interview on Sirius XM's The Starting Lineup, Pistons President of Basketball Operations Trajan Langdon was asked to open up about Detroit's approach to Malik Beasley right now. For those not tuned in, Beasley did not return to the Pistons over the offseason as he's been marred by gambling investigations during the summer months.
"Monitoring it from afar," Langdon said. "Obviously, he's being investigated by both the NBA and the Feds, so if something breaks then we'll have a conversations, but until then we need to manage the team with what we have and that's kind of how we're managing the situation right now."
Beasley recently posted that he'd have an update soon, then his lawyer advised him to take the post back down and not to speak on the situation until it's all sorted out, so there is no definite timeline on when the sharp shooter could make his return.
