Positive news to report coming out of the G-League and the Motor City Cruise. First up is Tolu Smith, a big man who showed his value recently with the Pistons while both Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart were unavailable due to suspension. But for most of the season, Tolu Smith has refined his craft down low in the paint with the Motor City Cruise, and the versatile big man just became the first player in Cruise history to record 40 double-doubles for the squad. 

Then earlier tonight, Smith kept the good news flowing with a massive 149-118 victory over the College Park Skyhawks for the top offensive performance in franchise history. Smith has been a part of one record-breaking performance after the next for the Cruise, so stay tuned to see what the second-year center has in store.
