Rip Hamilton to participate in Shooting Stars event at All-Star Weekend

This year, the Detroit Pistons are going to be one of the dominant teams represented at All-Star Weekend. From Cade Cunningham and Jalen Duren playing in the All-Star Game to JB Bickerstaff coaching one of the squads, the Pistons will leave their imprint on All-Star Weekend one way or another, and another event was announced earlier today that should capture Pistons fans' attention. 

The Shooting Stars challenge, which has taken an 11-year hiatus from All-Star Weekend, is officially back and former Detroit Piston shooting guard Rip Hamilton is slated to take part in the classic event. 

Hamilton will take care of the NBA legend portion of Team All-Star alongside Chet Holmgren and Scottie Barnes. The Shooting Stars event is tabbed to begin on Saturday Feb. 14 at 5 pm.
