Powerful Paul Reed swat
Although Detroit Pistons center Paul Reed was outmatched by Joel Embiid on Wednesday night, B-Ball Paul still gave maximum effort on both ends as he always does. Take a look at this big P-Reed swat during the Pistons’ six-point loss to the Sixers last night.

Duncan Robinson catch-and-shoot ranking
To start the year, Duncan Robinson has been one of the most in-form shooters on the Detroit Pistons, bar none. Duncan is on pace to set a new career-high in scoring, and his rhythm from three-point land has been a huge reason for that scoring success.

Smooth Ausar-to-Cade transition dish
In the Detroit Pistons quest to use Ausar Thompson as more of a playmaker, the dynamic 4th year wing laced a slick pass right into Cade Cunningham’s hands for a nice transition bucket against the Charlotte Hornets last night.
Do you like how Detroit has used Thompson offensively to start the season?

Pistons Defensive FG%
So far, the Detroit Pistons have shown that they haven’t missed a beat defensively in their 5-1 start, which could have been a concern with so many new players joining an already-successful squad. But considering the Pistons have held three of their six opponents under 100 points this season, JB Bickerstaff has done a good job of keeping the team’s identity intact.

Pistons rank top 10 in assists per game
In the early stages of the 2026-27 season, the Detroit Pistons look like their slew of off-season additions can all offer something new and different to the team. So far, the Pistons have moved the ball well as they run through different wrinkles and concepts, which has already led to Detroit’s position in the top third of the league for assists per game.

Another buzzer-beater for Daniss Jenkins
This is becoming a fairly regular occurrence for the Detroit Pistons after Daniss Jenkins sunk another buzzer-beater on Friday night against the Brooklyn Nets. Perhaps the Pistons staff should remind DJ that there’s a 24-second buzzer at the end of each possession to see if that prompts an extension of his quickly-expanding clutch resume.

Daniss Jenkins’ clutch gene
In his young NBA career, Pistons guard Daniss Jenkins has developed a knack for buzzer-beating shots. DJ put that clutch intangible quality on display against the Hornets on Wednesday with a shot that was airborne as the horn sounded.
With one shot left for the Pistons, who would you want to step up to the plate?

Paul Reed from downtown!
In the Detroit Pistons home win over the Charlotte Hornets, Paul Reed came up big once again in his starting role with Jalen Duren on the mend. This season, B-Ball Paul has been surprisingly dangerous from three-point land, and he drilled a pair of big triples against the Hornets to further his shooting streak.

Paul Reed chase-down block
Filling in for Jalen Duren, Pistons center Paul Reed put in a serious shift on both ends of the court in Detroit’s 14-point loss to the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. Reed nearly had a double-double with 22 points and 9 rebounds, but he made his defensive effort count as well with this chase-down block as a textbook example of B-Ball Paul’s hustle.

Cade Cunningham’s timing
Part of what makes Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham so difficult to stop is that he moves around the court at his pace and only his pace. Cade is effective in getting to his trusted spots on the floor, and the defense usually has a tough time speeding up the All-Star’s processes.
Cunningham once again demonstrated his complete control of each play during the Pistons’ 13-point win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night.
