What would a successful season for the Rockets look like?

The Houston Rockets are coming off a 52-30 season where they made the playoffs and earned the fifth seed in the Western Conference, but unfortunately went down in the first round to the Los Angeles Lakers in six games. 

So, heading into 2026, that brings up a few questions. What would a successful season for the Rockets look like? Does Houston need to surpass 52 wins to have a successful season? Do the Rockets, at worst, need to get to the semifinals?
