In some surprising news today, it was announced that recently acquired Thunder guard Jared McCain was selected to compete in the celebrity 3-point contest at the NBA's upcoming All-Star weekend.

This is the second-most prestigious 3-point contest at All-Star Weekend this year, only behind the official players-only 3-point contest.

McCain will compete against heavy hitters like Caleb Williams. Druski. PlaqueBoyMax. Nigel Sylvester. Richard Jefferson and Cam Wilder.

Many others and I are currently confused about how a current NBA player qualifies for a celebrity event, but maybe it will be Jared McCain, the TikToker, and not the professional basketball player taking on these other celebs in the contest.

Either way, I am sure that McCain will find a way to have fun and make the best of being included in this event.
