Last night, it was reported by NBA insider Chris Haynes that the Los Angeles Clippers were sending future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul home.

After the surprise of the news had settled in, a common suggestion emerged that the Thunder should go and sign CP3 and bring him back to Oklahoma City.

For any fans hoping this happens, I might have some bad news: I don't think it will.

To bring up a bit of southern and Oklahoman wisdom, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Coming off their first NBA championship, the Thunder are off to a dynamic and dominant 21-1 start to this season.

Would it be great to have Chris Paul back in OKC? Absolutely! Would it be awesome to see CP3 possibly get his first ring with the Thunder? For sure!

But unfortunately, that doesn't mean it will happen. Chemistry and the dynamics of a team can be incredibly delicate, and I think Sam Presti sides with continuity and not rocking the boat with this team that is rolling up until the NBA's trade deadline at the very latest.

But what do you think? Should the Thunder stand pat or should they make a move to bring Chris Paul back to Oklahoma City for one last ride before he rides off into the sunset on his Hall of Fame career?
