Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's elite scoring stands out not only because of the efficiency with which he puts points up on a nightly basis, but also because he can do it in less time than basically anyone else in NBA history.

Before 2025 was closed out on the Thunder's annual New Year's Eve game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made history, breaking the all-time record for the most 30-point games in a season while playing under 30 minutes at 10 games, passing Giannis Antetokounmpo's mark that he set in 2020.

The craziest part is that Shai shattered that record, and the Thunder still have 48 games left to go this season, so we could realistically see SGA take this record and run with it in a way that might never be passed again, or at least probably not for a very long time.
