The Oklahoma City Thunder once again find themselves in familiar territory, as for the third straight season, OKC secured the number one seed in the Western Conference and will get some extra rest as they wait for their opponent to emerge from the play-in tournament.

For anyone unfamiliar with how the play-in tournament works, the seventh-seeded Suns will take on the eighth-seeded Blazers for the right to play the Spurs in the first round.

The loser of that game will play the winner of the ninth-seeded Clippers and the tenth-seeded Warriors.

But regardless of how it ends up coming out of the play-in tournament as OKC's opponent, you can rest assured that the Thunder will be rested and ready for that first-round matchup.
