Chet Holmgren can't believe other teams let Ajay Mitchell fall to OKC in the draft

Ajay Mitchell has been a bit of an under-the-radar player over the past couple of seasons for everyone other than hardcore Thunder fans and a few NBA insiders.

But this year especially, he has truly broken and established himself as a big-time piece for OKC.

Today in Game 3 vs. the Suns, Ajay was tasked with starting in a playoff game for the first time in his career.

After the game was over and the Thunder took a commanding 3-0 series lead, here is what Chet Holmgren had to say about Ajay after his first-ever playoff game start.

“Ajay is an amazing player. I think it's a crime that he fell to where he did in the draft. There should be some jobs lost somewhere for that one, but we are glad that happened and glad we have him.”
