Mark Daigneault can't help but me proud of Nikola Topić

Nikola Topić, before he was ever drafted by the Thunder, was already behind the eight ball after tearing his ACL, and because of that, he fell to OKC at 12. He missed his entire rookie season with that injury, but this season, things got even worse and more life-threatening as he was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Luckily, Topić was able to beat his cancer diagnosis and is now back on the floor playing basketball for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tonight was a special night for him as he set a new career high in assists after dishing out 14 dimes tonight to his teammates.

After the game, Mark Daigneault raved about Topić's game, character, and overall resilience.

“I think the last couple of games showed that while he's really inexperienced obviously, he's really talented and can really play.”
