Mark Daigneault talks about the trust he has in the Thunder player's leadership

The Thunder are no strangers to Game 3 struggles, and after Game 3 in Phoenix in the first round of this year’s playoffs, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander spoke about the emphasis OKC placed on that game, given what happened the previous year.

Last night, after the Thunder's dominant Game 3 win over the Lakers, Mark Daigneault said he didn't give any impassioned speech about Game 3s, and that movement was a locker-room-driven thing.

Today at OKC's media availability, I asked Mark about the unwavering trust that he has in the Thunder’s locker room leadership.

“I got great advice one time. It was, you need to be there when they need you.”

Mark mentioned that he isn't afraid to step in when needed, but as the team has grown, they have been able to self-regulate as they gain experience.
