SGA breaks down the development of pace in his game

When you watch Shai Gilgeous-Alexander play basketball, one of the things that stands out most about his game is his unorthodox pace and rhythm.

I asked SGA when he realized that other guys on the basketball court weren't moving like he could.

“At a young age, I was like small in stature, and I wasn't athletic. I had like knee pain, so I was fast, and then I was slow all of a sudden. So then I had to figure out ways to get to spots on the floor, and it just naturally gradually took off from there. Once I grew into my size and athleticism, it really became a weapon for me.”
