Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to let his game do the talking when it comes to his MVP pitch
Late in the season, the MVP conversation has started to really heat up with players like Victor Wembanyama stating his case on why he should win MVP, Jaylen Brown although not really in the conversation to win has boasted his claim to the award to anyone who will listen, and most recently JJ Redick as the head coach of the Lakers advocated for Luka Dončić to come away with the hardware this year.
Tonight it looked like it might have been Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's turn to champion himself to win a second straight MVP, but in true SGA fashion he chose the humble route and declined to do so saying, “Nah, I’m good. I let my game do the talking.”
