WATCH: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander teases a new Nike version of the SHAI 001

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's biggest offseason splash came off the hardwood as Oklahoma City's superstar and the NBA's reigning back-to-back MVP switched from Converse to Nike.

Although Converse is technically under the Nike umbrella, the swoosh brand obviously saw the rise of SGA's superstardom, along with the awesome reception to his first signature shoes, the SHAI 001, and decided to get him to sign on as Nike's newest signature basketball athlete.

Today at Thunder training camp, SGA debuted a new Nike version of the SHAI 001 on the court, with the main difference between the original and the new one being Nike being slapped on the back heel counter.

It will be interesting to see how Nike continues building Shai's brand and if he gets a new Nike shoe this year or if they continue with the adapted SHAI 001.
