While the Golden State Warriors have had a relatively quiet offseason, there's still time for them to upgrade in certain parts of their roster. This summer, the Warriors have prioritized bringing back their veteran pieces, but they made no notable external free agent signings. 

The Warriors could be thin on the perimeter as they could be without Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler to start the season, but there are players available that could fill those holes. 

With the addition of Yaxel Lendeborg in the draft in June, adding shooting must be a priority for the front office. While Lendeborg is a capable shooter and can score on all three levels, his strength is attacking the rim. 

While Gabe Vincent is not coming off the most productive 2025-2026 season, his past has shown that he can be a player contending teams can count on for offensive production. 

Vincent has always been a player who has come off the bench for the teams he's played for, and it would be the same situation in Golden State. The Warriors will likely want Stephen Curry and Brandin Podziemski to start in the backcourt, and would want Vincent as a sixth man. 

His shooting ability could fit in with the offense the Warriors want to run, and he could fit in with Yaxel Lendeborg if they choose to have him come off the bench as well. 

In terms of available unrestricted free agents, DeMar DeRozan is the most productive player from last season. DeRozan is coming off a season where he averaged over 20 points per game on a struggling Sacramento Kings team. 

DeRozan could fit with the Warriors the best out of all teams available because of the hole the team has at the small forward position. Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan both feed off scoring in the mid range area, and the coaching style with either one of them would not be much different. 

DeRozan is also a player who has been a second option on a team before, and with his veteran presence, he could be prepared to play alongside someone like Steph Curry. 

He could be signed by a team later in September, as a team may be looking to acquire him fresh before the season starts. 

Bruce Brown is a player who is known to productive on both sides of the ball and was a part of the Denver Nuggets' 2023 Championship team. Brown spent last season with the Nuggets after being way from the team since the championship victory. 

Brown showed he can still be a knockdown shooter from deep, shooting 38.5 percent from three point range. The Warriors will need some extra help from the perimeter offensively, and Brown could be someone that helps on both ends.
