Wizards head coach Brian Keefe joined 106.7 The Fan's Sports Junkies for his bi-weekly interview, and he delivered high remarks for his rookie Tre Johnson.

"That is really hard to do, what he's doing.," Keefe said. "He's shooting in the 40s as a rookie from the three-point line. That is not common. This shows you the work he's done in his life to get to this point."

Johnson, 19, is one of four rookies to shoot at least 40% from three. Asa Newell leads the rookies, shooting nearly 47%. Johnson has hit multiple threes in 8 of the 11 games he's played since he returned from his hip flexor injury.

The other top rookie standing out is Kon Knueppel, who leads all rookies in scoring at 19.4 points per game. He's shooting just under 43% from the three-point line.

Keefe called it "really unusual" for someone at his age to shoot that efficiently this early into their career.
