Trae Young will remain out for the Wizards until at least after the mid-February NBA All-Star break, when he’ll be re-evaluates, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.
The Wizards traded for Young last week. He only played in 10 games for the Hawks this season, as he’s been sidelined with an MCL and quad injury.
Washington remains cautious with Young before he takes the floor for the first time with it.
With Washington set on keeping its top-eight protected pick this season, it has no desire to rush Young’s recovery process.
