Florida State men’s tennis to participate in Bedford Cup
The Florida State men's tennis team will take part at the Bedford Cup this weekend, Oct. 2-4, hosted by Central Florida in Orlando. FSU hosted the Bedford Cup last season and will send four players to this year’s cup: Elias Sumann, Yan Kodjoed, Justin Lyons and Oren Ezerzer.

Florida State volleyball to take on NC State and Wake Forest
The Florida State volleyball team (6-6, 1-1 ACC) hosts NC State (10-3, 1-1) and Wake Forest (6-7, 0-2) this upcoming weekend. The Seminoles take on an Wolfpack squad on Friday and hold an 52-9 all-time advantage, including a 31-3 home record. They will take on Wake Forest on Sunday, a team whom FSU owns a 42-7 all-time record.

Florida State baseball to play USF at Phillies Spring Training home
The Florida State baseball team will close out the fall ball slate with a game against South Florida at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 24. BayCare Ballpark is the Spring Training home of the Philadelphia Phillies and their Single-A affiliate, the Clearwater Threshers.

Senior Duo Represents Florida State WBB in Media Day
Seniors Avery Treadwell, Solé Williams will represent the Florida State women’s basketball team, along with head coach Brooke Wyckoff at the 2026 ACC Tipoff, a media day event that signals the beginning of the new season, starting Oct. 5. Williams returns as the leading scorer from last season. She averaged 15.1 points per game in 29 games. Treadwell enters her fourth season at Florida State and as the team captain. She shot 58.2 percent from the floor last season.

Florida State volleyball falls to Miami
The Florida State volleyball team (6-6, 1-1 ACC) renewed their rivalry with the Miami Hurricanes (3-8, 1-1), but fell in straight sets on Sunday in Coral Gabels. The Seminoles were swept despite recording three more kills than the Hurricanes (43-40) and matched the Hurricanes with 37 digs. Kyleene Filimaua led the Seminoles with 20.5 points, including 19 kills while hitting a team-best .421. Sofia Moss added 10 kills and seven digs, while Emma Lilo led the Seminoles support 24 assists and eight digs. The Seminoles return home for a five-match homestand, starting with NC State on Friday.

Florida State Tennis Duo Finishes 2nd in Bedford Cup
The Florida State tennis duo of Abby Kelliher and Ariana Gilbert reached the championship match of the Bedford Cup in Tampa this past weekend. The Seminole duo defeated Stetson's Alissia Aleksandra Kivi and Lena Karolina Hornecka 6-1 in the round of 16 to start their run. They prevailed over Florida Atlantic’s No. 48-ranked tandem of Panna Bartha and Katrin Pavkova 6-2 advance to the semifinals. Against the hosting South Florida Bulls’ best duo of Zoe Lazar and Margherita Marcon in the semifinals, Kelliher earned a 7-6(4) victory in a tiebreaker to reach the doubles final. Their run ended in defeated against North Florida in the championship match.

Florida State Beach Volleyball Releases Fall Schedule
The Florida State Beach Volleyball team announced its fall schedule on Monday. The Seminoles will split the team in half on Oct. 9-11 to play in tournaments in Fort Walton Beach, and Manhattan Beach, California. The Seminoles will also compete in events in Tavares, Florida (Oct. 24-25), Huntsville, Alabama and Jacksonville (Nov. 6-9). They will also host the Garnet and Gold Scrimmage on November 14, the first day of Coach Brooke Niles' Elite ID Camp. Niles enters the new year as the all-time winningest coach in the NCAA with over 300 wins. She is entering her 12th season with the Seminoles. The Seminoles will round out the Fall slate in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, on Nov. 20-22.

Florida State Volleyball Renews Rivalry With Miami
The Florida State volleyball team (5-5) will renew their rivalry with the Miami Hurricanes to begin the ACC slate of the season on Wednesday. The Seminoles have a strong track record when it comes to conference openers, having won 19 of their last 20 first home ACC matches. The Seminoles own a 42-26-1 advantage over the Hurricanes since the series began in 1970. The Hurricanes started the season on a seven game losing streak but won their last two matches against LSU and Tulsa over the weekend. Seminoles senior outside hitter Kyleene Filimaua enters the matchup ranking sixth in the ACC in both points (178.5) and kills (149). First serve is set for 7 p.m. on the ACC Network.

FSU women’s golf finishes third at Oklahoma
The No. 21 Florida State women’s golf team finished third at the Schooner Fall Classic, led by Louise Landgraf scoring a six-under 64 on Monday. Florida State carded a one-under 279 in the final round while the field averaged 72.34 strokes. The Seminoles finished at 11-under 829 for the tournament, behind Iowa State, who won the team title at 30-under, and host Oklahoma, who finished second at 13-under. Haruhi Nakatani closed the tournament with a one-under 69 to finish at seven-under 203 and tie for fourth. Sophia Fullbrook and Alexandra Gazzoli each shot three-over 73 for the Seminoles.

FSU-Mizzou WBB matchup announced
Tip-off time for the womens basketball game between Florida State and Missouri has been announced to be played at 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 on the ACC Network. FSU will host Mizzou for the 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge. Florida State and Missouri played each other five times in their respective programs’ history, with the Seminoles winning three of them. Their most recent matchup came in the second round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament, where the Seminoles won 77-55 on their way to making an Elite Eight appearance. Florida State will host Merrimack at 6 p.m. on Nov. 2 to open the 2026-27 season.

Florida State-Virginia kickoff time announced
The Seminoles’ home matchup against Virginia next week has been scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff time and will be broadcasted either ESPN2 or the ACC Network. Florida State is 15-5 all-time against Virginia, including a 9-1 home record. The last time the Cavailiers traveled to Tallahassee was 2014, a game in which the Seminoles won 34-20.
