Former Noles PK Janikowski on 2027 CFB HOF Ballot

Former Florida State place kicker Sebastian Janikowski has landed on the College Football Hall of Fame ballot for 2027. At 6-foot-1 and 260 pounds, Janikowski was not your typical kicker. While at Florida State, he was a 2X All-American in 1998-1999, 3X All-ACC selection, and a BCS national champion. Janikowski also was a two-time winner of the Lou Groza Award, given to the top kicker in college football. 

In 2000, Janikowski was drafted in the first-round by the Raiders, one of only five place kickers to be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. In his 19-year NFL career, he became the Raiders all-time leading scorer with 1, 799 points.
