WR Micahi Danzy Lands on Bruce Feldman's Freak List for 2026

Florida State WR Michai Danzy has become one of the most dangerous and dynamic players in college football, resulting in his inclusion at No. 12 on Bruce Feldman's Freak List for 2026.

Danzy’s elite speed is a headache for defensive coordinators to game plan for. He averaged 42.2 yards on the six touchdowns he scored last season. Danzy  hauled in 27 passes for 571 yards and three scores, and gained 216 rushing yards on 12 carries with three touchdowns.

Danzy has gained 15 pounds and now stands 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds. Over the summer, Danzy got stronger, as he cleaned 335 pounds. Danzy is one of the elite sprinters at the collegiate level. At the ACC outdoor track championship meet last year, Danzy ran the 400 meters in 44.38, which set an ACC and school record.

Danzy, who earned first-team All-ACC honors in track as a freshman, was No. 1 going into the NCAA track and field championships and ranked ninth in the world. Danzy has been clocked at 23 mph on Catapult, and the Florida State coaching staff is quick to point out that he does so in game situations on the football field, not just speed work on the track.
