Florida State football made an early run at American Heritage High quarterback Neimann Lawrence, who's a high-profile 2028 passer from Plantation, Fla. 

However, Zach Blostein of Noles247 reports it's already "too little, too late" for the Seminoles. 

Miami and Texas A&M are two schools standing out. He's also rumored to considered reclassifying to 2027. 

Even if FSU proactively recruits Lawrence, it may ruffle feathers with Champ "Wonderful" Monds IV, who reclassified to 2027 and is a high priority target for the Seminoles.
