Wake Forest has won three straight games against good opponents, while Florida State has lost four in a row. Will the trends continue, or can FSU right the ship?

The Florida State Seminoles (3-4) host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (5-2) this Saturday in Tallahassee. Kickoff in Doak Campbell Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. on the ACC Network. Florida State is on a four-game losing streak and coming off its second Off Week of the season. The Demon Deacons have won three straight, with victories over Virginia Tech, Oregon State and SMU.

Here's everything you need to know about Wake Forest before this weekend's game.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons - the Names and Numbers to Know

2025 results: The Deacs have quietly put together an impressive campaign. Wake is a well-coached team that has gotten better as the season goes along.

After losing 34-24 against NC State, Wake Forest nearly took down No. 8 Georgia Tech, giving the undefeated Yellow Jackets their toughest game of the season. The Demon Deacons have won three straight games since then, proving they're no pushovers in the ACC.

By The Numbers: The Deacs are scoring 26.7 points per game (77th of 136 nationwide), while allowing 18.9 points per game (26th of 136). A stingy defense has made up for an occasionally lackluster offense that has seen two quarterbacks try to spark something, with an 8:6 TD:INT ratio between them. Wake is outgaining opponents by an average of 82.9 yards per game.

Leading Passer: Robby Ashford - 95-for-162, 1,205 yards, three touchdowns, four interceptions

Leading Receiver: Chris Barnes - 28 catches, 476 yards, three touchdowns, 17 yards per catch

Leading Rusher: Demond Claiborne - 92 rushes, 612 yards, eight touchdowns, 6.7 yards per rush

Leading Tackler: Defensive back Nic Anderson - 57 tackles, three tackles for loss

Game Analysis: Wake Forest seems to have a found a groove, so the real question on Saturday night is, which Florida State team shows up? Will it be the Seminoles that reeled off three-straight impressive wins to start the season, or the ones that lost four-straight one-score games?

If FSU's players have their mindsets right, the Seminoles should be in good shape, and they're already favored to win. However, if they come out flat, Wake Forest has the talent and coaching to take advantage.
