KU Football program

Leipold has had long enough.

At some point, you have to stop making excuses and admit that if Kansas wants to be a legitimate football program, it needs to act like one.

Back up the damn Brinks truck. Spend what we can realistically afford and go get a coach who can RECRUIT. Not just develop a few players. Not just have a good season every few years. Recruit the kind of talent that gives you a legitimate chance to compete for a Big 12 title and a playoff spot.

Kansas has the resources. The facilities are better. The fan base is there. The conference is there. The opportunity is there.

Now go get someone who can put the talent on the field to take advantage of it.

I'm not saying Kansas should expect a national championship every year. That's ridiculous. But the goal should absolutely be to build a program capable of making the playoff,  and when the right year comes together, having a legitimate shot at a national championship.

At some point, "we're building" has to become BUILD IT.
