Linebacker Jon Jon Kamara is the latest to transfer from Kansas, drawing a stern reaction from a former fan.

Well, it was a parent of one of the former players. Katie Booker, mother of defensive end Austin Booker, threw shade at general manager Rob Ianello under Kamara's transfer announcement. Her son played at Kansas in 2023, earning Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors after recording 56 tackles and eight sacks. He now plays for the Chicago Bears.

"Everyone wants to blame coaches for kids leaving but I am here to tell you that ROB IANELLO is the #1 reason these kids are leaving," she tweeted. "He continually lies to these kids and honestly I don’t know how he sleeps at night. He is terrible for this program!"
