Though leading over Michigan 44-35 for the first half, Northwestern again slumped in the second half and lost to the Wolverines 87-75, still struggling to seek its third conference victory of the season. Michigan scored 52 second-half points to make the comeback.

Well, at least Northwestern played better basketball for the majority of the time on Wednesday.
