Intangibles at Michigan State

Northwestern's Saturday, Oct. 17 game at Michigan State looks like one that could be decided by intangibles.

MSU coach Pat Fitzgerald vs. the team that fired him (and he later sued for over $130 million).

Northwestern QB Aidan Chiles vs. his former team.

Northwestern's College Football Playoff aspirations vs. MSU playing for pride, and their new coach (who has a penchant for flipping off referees).

Whenever these kinds of elements are present, I expect an exciting game. This one is appointment viewing, and the eyes of college football fans everywhere will be watching (game scheduled for 12 p.m. ET Saturday on Peacock).
