Depending on whether Gus Hurlburt returns for a graduate season, Northwestern will most likely have 13 or 14 players currently slated to be on the roster. With the right transfers, is this an NCAA Tournament caliber team?
I think it all depends on the development of NU's freshmen and whether Tre Singleton can become a true star for the Wildcats. Northwestern also desperately needs more size in its frontcourt. Bennerman (7-foot-0) and Ghai (7-foot-3) might be able to provide that, but I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Collins dips into the transfer portal.
