Former Northwestern RB scores first NFL touchdown

Congrats to former Northwestern running back Anthony Tyus III, who scored his first NFL touchdown on Sunday in a game between the Panthers and the Buccaneers!

Tyus was a three-star recruit and played at Northwestern from 2021 to 2023, where he ran for 504 yards and two touchdowns. He transferred to Ohio for his senior season and broke out, rushing for 1,215 yards and nine touchdowns in 2024.

After going undrafted, Tyus spent time with the Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks in the offseason/preseason before finding a home with the Carolina Panthers.
