K.J. Windham's freshman season came alive in the second half after injuries to Brooks Barnhizer and Jalen Leach thrust him into an expanded role. The Indianapolis native delivered back-to-back 20-point performances against Oregon and Iowa, becoming the first Northwestern freshman to score 20-plus since Boo Buie in 2019.

With most of last year's backcourt departed, Windham enters his sophomore season as a leading candidate to crack Chris Collins' starting lineup this year.
