The week is starting to heat up. Earlier this morning, Notre Dame received a commitment from 2027 five-star offensive lineman Oluwasemilore Olubobola from St. Peter's Prep. Olubobola is the No. 1 player in the state of New Jersey according to On3/Rivals and 247Sports. This was a massive pickup for the Irish. After we broke down his commitment, we continued our State of the Program series with the linebacker unit. Notre Dame is the only team in the country that returns all five linebackers between starters and key rotation pieces at linebacker. They're poised for a big season.

We wrapped everything up with a daily mailbag geared towards linebacker and recruiting questions.

Part 1 - Ends 0:43:35

We broke down Olubobola's commitment to Notre Dame. He's the 15th overall commit in the 2027 class and the third offensive lineman on the board joining Richie Flanagan, the younger brother of current Notre Dame tight end James Flanigan, and James Halter, a highly touted offensive line recruit from Pennsylvania. We broke down his film and discussed Olubobola's impact on the 2027 class.

Part 2 - Ends 1:18:24

The Irish return the deepest and one of the most talented linebacker rooms in the country. In part two of today's show, we recap their performance in the 2025 season and talk through what that means for 2026. All five players between Drayk Bowen, Jaiden Ausberry, Jaylen Sneed, Madden Faraimo and Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa return to the roster.

Part 3 - Ends 1:49:27

The future is also bright at the position. Bowen and Sneed are done after this season but Viliamu-Asa, Ausberry and Faraimo all have eligibility past the 2026 season. In part three of today's show, we talk about the depth and the potential role they'll play this season along with their future impact.

Part 4 - Remainder Of The Show

We wrapped everything up with a daily mailbag geared towards recruiting questions and questions about the linebacking corps. Please be sure to let us know what you think of the show, your thoughts on the linebacker room and the commitment of Olubobola.
