Cowboys Football Adds Second Verbal Commit of 2027 Class
Are you excited with the addition of Pryor WR Cooper Hooker to the 2027 Football Class?

The Cowboys landed the top wide receiver in the State of Oklahoma, according to Rivals.com, as Cooper Hooker announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Thursday afternoon on X. A three-star recruit for the Pryor Tigers, Hooker had previously played the 2025 prep season for Salina High School. Hooker chose the Cowboys over UConn, Georgia State, Old Dominion, Texas State, East Carolina, Buffalo, Arkansas State, Southern Miss, and others. The Cowboys offered Hooker on May 11, and ten days later, the 5-foot-8, 165-pound wide receiver announced his commitment.
Hooker is the second verbal commit to Oklahoma State and head coach Eric Morris, joining quarterback Carson White of Arcola, Texas, in the 2027 recruiting class. Hooker registered a laser-timed 4.44 40-yard dash at the Under Armor St. Louis camp back in March.
