Stanford Women's Soccer Roster Loses Two More

On Thursday it was announced that sophomore goaltender Caroline Birkel, junior defender Lizzie Boamah, and sophomore midfielder Yi-Lan Nguyen would be representing Team USA in the U-20 Women's World Cup.

On Friday, Stanford lost a pair of players to the Team England roster in junior midfielder Eleanor Klinger and junior goalkeeper Kaiya Jota.

With Birkel and Jota both set to miss some time in September, that will leave new fifth-year transfer Rhiannon Stewart as the lone goaltender on the roster.
